Covid-19 pandemic: aspects of palliative care – Swiss Academy of medical Sciences
Infection with the coronavirus threatens the entire population, but the most at risk for serious and fatal courses are elderly people, who are often multimorbid and frail. The current pandemic situation and the publication of the guidelines for triage decisions have prompted the Society Palliative Geriatrie (FGPG) to draw up additional practice-oriented recommendations. The SAMS welcomes this step.
